Bachelorette Star Katie Thurston has shared a shocking update about her cancer battle.
By going to her Instagram grip on Friday, the 34-year-old TV star revealed that her breast cancer has now spread to her liver.
“After days of waiting, I unfortunately found out today that my breast cancer has spread to the liver,” Katie shared with fans in a video.
“It’s pretty small, but it puts me on phase four,” she added.
The TV personality, diagnosed with triple-positive breast cancer 43 days ago, has also written that she will begin her new treatment plan on April 4.
“I know phase four may sound very scary, and it can be,” Katie said. “Given that I am triple positive and the stains on my liver are quite small and discovered early, I feel very optimistic about my result.”
This revelation comes just a week after Katie tied the knot with comedian Jeff Arcuri. On March 22, LoveBirds released several photos of themselves in their wedding tales on Instagram.
