- The new Backbone Pro Mobile Controller has been revealed
- It comes with full -size and surrounding rear inputs
- It also has a unique wireless connection feature and up to 40 hours of battery life
Gaming Peripheral Maker Backbone has revealed Backbone Pro, a brand new mobile controller.
Backbone Pro is effective a chunkier version of the existing spine, but it is filled with additional features. This includes incorporation of full -size thumbsticks.
You will be able to reshape each button in the compatible backbone app and create tailor -made control profiles for your favorite games. The app has also been updated with new features, including a built -in retro -pilemulator.
Where Backbone Pro differs from some of the best mobile controllers is in its unique wireless mode. In addition to the standard USB type-C connector, the controller can be linked to phones, tablets, laptops, VR headsets and smart TVs via Bluetooth.
According to the company, its flowstate technology will allow the Backbone app to remember previously paired devices and switch between them with a tap.
In wireless mode, it offers up to 40 hours of games on a single charge.
Generally, it looks like a fairly formidable upgrade compared to the backbone. I’m a big fan of full -size thumbsticks like Razer Kishi Ultra, so I think it could be a real game elections here.
My only complaint is that Backbone Pro does not seem to use Hall Effect Thumbsticks, which is very much considered their durability and accuracy and are available on much cheaper deals from brands like Gamesir.
The thumb on the backbone has at least antifriction rings, which should help reduce the chance of wear.
Backbone Pro is available today via the Backbone website, although the official pricing must be confirmed.
