Bajaur:
Local residents of Mamond Tehsil in the Bajaur Tribal District continue to escape from their homes due to a continuous security operation in the area. The displacement has led to a wave of migration against safer regions where many families seek shelter from relatives.
In the absence of official relief from the government, the Alkhidmat Foundation has stepped in to provide significant support. The organization has created a relief in Badisya, where displaced families are offered food, shelter and other necessities.
Remarkably, the fund also participates in the needs of exhausted animals that have accompanied the fleeing families. Volunteers supply water and resting places to livestock and recognize their role in the life of displaced societies.
Despite the scope of displacement, no government -run camps have been established, which has left the affected population largely dependent on private assistance and hospitality in relatives in safer areas.
On the other hand, a mortar shell hit the house to a man named Saiol Malook in the Gohatri area of Mamond Tehsil and injured four people.
According to local sources, the wounded are identified as yellow Wali and Gulab yellow, sons of saaz Malook; Suleman, Son of Yellow Khan; and Syeda Jan, son of Muhammad Haleem, all residents of Gohati, Mamond.
The wounded were moved to category-d hospital Larkholozo in Mamond for treatment. Among them, the condition of a young man named Yellow Wali is reported to be critical.
