ISLAMABAD:
The Balochistan government has collected Rs2.5 billion from the mineral sector during the current financial year despite the coronavirus pandemic and the subsequent lockdown imposed to curb virus spread.
The government has collected the huge amount from the mining sector and deposited in the provincial treasury, said a Balochistan government official. Computerized scales have been installed besides increasing mine check posts in the province, he added.
