The Balochistani government has presented its first surplus budget to a value of RS 1,028 billion, marking a historic milestone for the province.
The budget presented by the Minister of Provincial Finance Mir Shuaib Noshirovani was announced during a session in the Balochistan assembly chairman of speaker Abdul Khaliq Achakzai.
In his budget speech, Minister Noshirovani said the provincial government had successfully used the entire development budget for the current financial year.
He highlighted the results across different sectors during the financial period and emphasized that the government’s focus on development had produced positive results.
The Minister of Finance also noted that the proposed budget includes a profit of 42 billion Rs. This marks a significant performance as Balochistan has never presented a budget exceeding a Billion Rupier.
