In line with Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI)-Founder Imran Khan’s Directive, the party’s lawmakers have begun to resign from the National Assembly’s standing committee. PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan on Wednesday sent 18 to the NA speaker office.
De, der trak sig ned fra formandskaber og medlemskab af forskellige udvalg, inkluderer Junaid Akbar, Sahibzada Saifullah, Mahboob Shah, Shahzada Gustasab, Ali Jadoon, Mujahid Ali, Malik Anwar Taj, Fazal Muhammad Khan, Sajid Khan, Arbab Amir Ayub, Asif Kk, Sheik, Sheik, Sheikha, Sheikha, Sheikh Waqas Akram, Arshad Sahi, Malik Amir Dogar, Shabbir Ali Qureshi and Awais Jhakkar.
Barrister Gohar withdrew himself from four committees – law and justice, human rights, information technology and House Business Advisory Committee.
Later, Shehryar Afridi, Mobeen Arif Jatt, Usama Maila and PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat also Buded their resignation to the party’s chairman.
Takes to X, Malik Amir Dogar wrote: “I hereby resign from the Standing Committee of the National Assembly in accordance with the directive of my leader Imran Khan.”
He added that he was a true soldier of Imran Khan, and no attitude had more importance to him than his leader. “The sole purpose of my policy is to continue Imran Khan’s mission, Pakistan’s true independence and people’s service,” Dogar said.
It is relevant to mention that Imran Khan had instructed PTI legislators to resign NA’s committee after the Pakistan (ECP) committee disqualified several party leaders in the wake of their beliefs in the 9th of May.
A day earlier, chairman of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) in the National Assembly, Junaid Akbar, withdrew. PTI Secretary Information Sheikh Waqas Akram also retired from the PAC and the Information Committee. “After the instructions from our manager Imran Khan, I submitted my resignation this morning from the Committee on Public Accounts and the Information Committee,” he said at X.
