Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barristist Gohar Ali Khan refused on Thursday firm reports suggesting that the party was engaged in political negotiations and called media requirements “false and baseless.”

In an exclusive conversation with Express newshe rejected the circulating stories and specifically criticized a private news channel for sending out what he called as inaccurate information.

“I completely reject the news of negotiations. A private channel sent a false report that I categorically deny,” he said.

He added that he had contacted that channel, which later issued an apology for the erroneous report. “Furthermore, the party’s basic chairman has not assigned me any task in negotiations,” GOHAR managed.

He contacted the media directly and appealed to responsible journalism: “I request that before you drove any news, always confirm the facts by searching that person’s version.”

When he repeated his statement, a spokesman for PTI also issued a formal counter -movement. “Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf strongly denies all reports circulating through so-called sources regarding any meeting between our leader Imran Khan and Presidential Attorney Gohar.”

The party’s spokesman further emphasized that no such interactions or discussions have taken place. “If Barrister Gohar’s attitude had been taken in advance, such confusion could have been avoided. None of the sent reports have any truth to them,” the statement reads.

PTI also condemned the reports as part of a deliberate disinformation campaign. “These stories of negotiations are part of an organized propaganda effort against PTI,” the spokesman concluded.
