Barry Keoghan has opened up to meet the Beatles legend Ringo Starr.
The actor, who plays the lead role in the upcoming Beatles Biopic, revealed the meeting at the Film Film Festival in Ireland.
“I was sitting opposite him and I couldn’t look at him because I was nervous and his wife Barbara was there and she said, ‘You can look at him,'” Barry remembered the starstuff moment. “Every time I looked at him I saw myself in his glasses.”
Barry shared, “I said to him, ‘I’m not coming here to quiz you. I’m going to find out what made you and how the contrast went back to Liverpool after Beatlemania.'”
“We can all do imitation, but I wanted to know where it came from. He was on the money,” Barry said.
Barry Keoghan also continued to add his current Beatles bootcamp and said, “It’s a place to fail, a place to learn and try. It’s the process I am in now. It’s a playground for me.”
“The drum is going well. I’ve done it in like six, seven months. I have blisters on my hands now,” that Saltburn The star added.
