In a larger casting jerk, Ben Affleck has taken over the lead role in the upcoming Netflix movie Animal After Matt Damon stepped out due to planning conflicts.
Despite leaving the lead role, Damon will remain involved in the project behind the scenes.
According to DeadlineAffleck, who was already ready to direct the film, will now also play in it. Both Affleck and Damon produce the project under their artists Equity Banner together with Dani Bernfeld.
In addition, the manuscript was bound by Connor McIntyre and Captain Phillips screenwriter Billy Ray.
