Benedict Cumberbatch recently shared its two cents on Hollywood’s unsustainable practice.

Recently talk about Ruthies Table 4 -PodcastBenedict spoke sincerely as he approached the excess behind the scenes, which is often not noticed by the public.

“It’s a roughly wasted industry,” he said sincerely, calling on studios and productions to consider their carbonprint more seriously.

“It just slowly, slowly, you have to meet people where they are on these questions in filming,” he explained, referring to the need for gradual but stable change. “So let me think of set buildings that are not recycled, think about transport, think about food, think about housing, but also light and energy.”

He went on to the fact that some solutions are right in front of us.

He ended by declaring, “You don’t have to give herd plastic bottles. If you’re in the middle of a desert and you can’t get glass bottles there, fair enough, but we’re in the 21st century.”
