Benq has announced two new 4K projectors as part of its Home Cinema series: Premium W5850, designed for theater class large screens; And the W4100i, which promises visuals in cinema quality to home theater to compete with the best projectors.
2,600 lumen W5 is “Designed for the ultimate cinematic experience”. It is capable of up to 200 inch screens with a shorter throwing ratio of 1.0 to 1.6. It allows it to deliver a 180-inch screen from only four meters away.
The W4100i has a 3,200-lumen LED light source, Android TV and AI Cinema Calibration Mode, which Benq says to ensure “cinema quality visuals” from streaming content.
Benq Home Cinema Series: Key features
Each of Home Cinema Series projectors meets the most important industrial standards including 100% DCI-P3 and Delta E <3 (with advanced models such as W5850 that achieve Delta E <2).
There is Benq’s own HDR-PRO technology that improves the contrast through the treatment of several step-global contrast amplifiers, local contrast amplifier and dynamic black and technology supports HDR10, HLG and HDR10+.
There is built -in noise reduction to improve compressed streaming content and the latest version of Benq’s AI biograft mode. This is a real -time images that dynamically adjusts HDR, color saturation and sharpness, which significantly improves the appearance of the compressed video content from the most important streaming services.
AI treatment is great among the best TVs, but has had no influence on projectors much yet – it clearly starts to change.
