Islamabad:

The federal government has appointed Bilal Bin Saqib as adviser to Finance Minister of Pakistan Crypto Council.

The announcement was published on Wednesday by the Financial Division and said the move confirms Pakistan’s commitment to technological development, financial digitization and financial security.

“Bilal bin Saqib will provide its extensive knowledge and experience with Pakistan’s efforts to integrate cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies in its economic ecosystem while ensuring the development of a robust regulatory framework for digital assets in accordance with global best practice,” the statement states.
