Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) President Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has called for urgent national consensus and special attention to the security situation in Balochistan and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, which describes both as critical of the country’s stability, reported Express News.

In a speech at the Governor House Punjab in Lahore on Monday, Bilawal expressed deep concern about the deteriorating law and order situation in the two provinces. He emphasized that the entire nation, together with all political parties, must unite to confront the threat of terrorism.

“All parties must meet for the sake of the country and the nation,” he said. “If the opposition wants to participate in politics, it must focus on public questions. This is time to make collective decisions in Pakistan’s interest.”

Bilawal emphasized the importance of setting aside political differences in order to prioritize national security and unity. “We need to pay special attention to Balochistan and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa,” he added, calling on all stakeholders to work towards consensus on national affairs.
