Bilawal requires proof from India about Pahaldam -Atreback Requirements

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) President Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has demanded that India present concrete evidence to substantiate his accusations against Pakistan regarding the Pahagam attack. He talked about a public collection in Mirpur Khas, Sindh, Thursday, he said:

“We [Pakistan] is not involved in this. If you have proof, present it. Tell the people of Mirpur Khas who these terrorists are. We will catch them and hang them in public in a land in Mirpur Khas. “

While he rejected India’s accusations against Pakistan, Bilawal said, “If India has evidence, let them present it. We will intervene against the perpetrators. But if they continue to target Sindhu, they must be prepared for an answer.”

He also said that Pakistan is not seeking war, but will defend his rights and resources against any aggression.

He criticized India’s accusations as a pretext to target the Indus River. He emphasized that PPP’s mission was to protect the river and said, “Our mission was to save Sindhu and we have saved it together. We will not allow Gujrat’s butcher Modi to strangle the neck of Sindhu. We will not have war, but we will fight for anyone who attacks Sindhu.”

In the reflective of PPP’s history, Bilawal remembered how the party and the public collectively restored democracy and released two military dictators. He honored the legacy of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, who advanced the rights of workers and repeated the party’s obligation to protect the rights of all citizens, including workers, students, young people, women and minorities.

He also approached the controversy of the construction of new channels in Sindh, while revealing that, under the caretaker government, decisions were made to build new channels, and the Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) issued certificates that claimed an abundance of water. He praised President Asif Ali Zardari for his regular attitude against the channel projects and said that Zardari had made it clear in a common parliamentary session that such projects posed a threat to Sindh and had to be stopped.

The PPP chairman concluded in repeating the party’s commitment to democracy, peace and protection of Sindh’s interests and urged all stakeholders to unite in protecting the province’s resources and rights.
