Jordon Hudson, Bill Belichick’s girlfriend, praised President Donald Trump’s administration for renegotiating Maine Sea Grant financing.
Hudson, 24, pleaded with Trump and the White House to reintroduce Maine Sea Grant after the program was “suddenly” cut on Saturday in a social media post.
Trump’s administration adhered to her pleas and agreed to reintroduce Maine Sea Grant financing on Wednesday. Hudson went to social media to expand his gratitude to Trump administration and senator Susan Collins.

“It is with a full, full heart that I share that this most wonderful news with you all,” Hudson wrote in her caption of her post that included her next to Collins.
Hudson began his post with “The fisherman has been heard!” And used hashtags #Trumpdoeslovefisherman and #trumplovesfisherman to unsubscribe.

Hudson spoke during the 50th Maine Fisherman’s Forum in Rockport, Maine on Saturday and talked about how Maine Sea Grant financing was cut, Maine’s Fisker affected.
“The news came as a tsunami to the forum on Saturday that the federal financing program ‘Maine Sea Grant’ was suddenly cut down. This program has been a pillar with support for marine research, sustainability and economic growth for more than 50 years.
“The decision only reinforced the uncertainty, anxiety and existential fears that are already plaguing the fisherman in Maine.”

Belichick was with Hudson to support when she published a picture of the couple in a private plane before talking on the forum.
North Carolina Tar Heels’s principal coach and Hudson was first publicly linked to last year and has reportedly discussed marriage.
This upcoming football season will be Belichick’s first as a college football head coach. The 72-year-olds signed ways with New England Patriots after the 2023 season after an incredible race that included six Super Bowl victories.
