Bill Ferrario, a former NFL offensive Lineman, who was a prominent to Wisconsin Badgers, has died, according to an online obituary. He was 47.
Ferrario died “Unexpected” on Wednesday, according to Times-Tribune in Scranton, Pennsylvania, where Ferrario was born. His death happened two days after his birthday.

Green Bay Packers chose Ferrario in the fourth round of the 2001 draft. He played 16 games for Packers in 2002, but was waived before the beginning of the 2003 season.
He tried to make Washington Redskins and Carolina Panthers, but he never stayed on their guards for a long time.
Ferrario was part of Badger’s offensive line that blocked the legendary to run back Ron Dayne. The former Wisconsin star won Heisman Trophy from 1999 when Badgers performed in the Rose Bowl Games in 1998 and 1999.

Ferrario’s obituary performed in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel on Thursday.
“I’m the heart bridge. I have known Billy since the fourth grade and he had a pure heart of gold and was a reliable friend,” Ferrario’s long-time friend Jason Waibel told Times-Tribune. “He would go in all lengths to help you. He always made you feel important even when everyone would just make him feel important. I couldn’t ask for a better friend.
“He carried the values of his time erected in West Side through his life. He was the epitome of hard work, loyalty and especially those of us who are west pages. He made everyone around him a better person. I will miss him terribly.”
