Another fantastic matchup between AFC tungweights ended in an exciting way on Sunday night when Josh Allen and Buffalo Bills gathered in the fourth quarter to beat Baltimore Ravens, 41-40, thanks to a walk-off field goal.
The bills Outscorated Ravens, 22-6, in the fourth quarter, and everything began to turn the homemaker’s path at Highmark Stadium when Derrick Henry, who had a star’s evening otherwise, fumbled with 3:10 back in the fourth quarter, while Baltimore had a 40-32 lead.
After Buffalo’s fumble improvement, Allen Jackson Hawes found the bills on the target line, and he skipped his offensive line to make it a two-point game. The bills that tried its third two-point conversion of the game were not successful for the third equal time as Keon Coleman could not pull in the back hole fade.

The ravens that could not be stopped on offensive in the first three quarters of this game still controlled their own fate if Lamar Jackson & Co. could get a first down. But the bills running on their entire momentum forced a three-and-out and Allen exploited.
Allen dissected Ravens’ defense, with the biggest game being a 32-yard strike for the new recipient Josh Palmer to get in field target interval. On the next plays, Coleman compensated for the fall of the final zone with a 25-yard catch and ran to Baltimores nine-yard line with 46 seconds left to play.
The bills were able to go down the clock, and Matt Prater buried the 32-yard trial to make a miraculous comeback to begin the new season.

Allen, the reigning League MVP, got 394 passing yards and 30 rushing yards with four gathered touchdowns – two passers -by and two rushing – to start his season on the right foot. But this game seemed to be a story for Jackson and Henry after what they did against a Bill’s defense that had no answer until the end.
Henry, who had nearly 2,000 rushing yards in his first Ravens season in 2024, NFL leads in week 1 after a total of 169 yards on 18 carrier with two long touchdown races. It was clear from the start of this game that Henry had to pick up where he escaped in 2024. The Ravens’ offensive line made clear lanes on the line with review, and the bruises did not spill them.

But Jackson did it all for the Ravens too when he scored once on earth and spread the touchdown pass for Zay Flowers and Deandre Hopkins, the latter of which was a highlight-wheel snag. He finished the game with 210 passing yards with only five incomplete on his 19 attempts, while rushing into 70 yards and a score of six carriers.
The Ravens scored on each of its first five belongings in this game, and it began after Allen and the bills that opened their 2025 season with a perfectly executed touchdown drive, with Dalton Kincaid pulling a strike from Allen to make it 7-0 after the extra point. Baltimore was able to get into the field target area of New Kicker Tyler Loop to bury a 52-yard field goal to chop the first of his career.
When Baltimore forced a three-and-out, Henry tore a 30-yard touchdown early in the second quarter to give the Ravens first lead in the new season. Then, on the team’s next possession, Henry almost took it to the house again, this time was stopped after a 49-yard win in just the second game from Scrimmage.
Two pieces later, Jackson took the ball on a designed race to the left and were almost untouched to make it 17-7 in favor of the road team. Buffalo spoke two more field goals in the first half to stay within a score, but Baltimore wasted no time when they got the ball back to start the second half.
This was Flowers Drive as the leading Ravens receiver with 143 yards got 62 of them on back-to-back act. First, a 39-yard catch-and-run set up the ravens in the buffalo territory just outside the red zone. Then Jackson wasted no time finding him for a 23-yard connection blowing up the ball, 27-13.

Allen, who knew the bills needed to answer at home, dug deeply and managed to walk 60 yards on nine pieces, with James Cook, the league’s leader in rushing touchdowns a season ago, got his first of the new campaign from two meters out. The team’s two-point conversion failed, leaving the score 27-19.
Baltimore would continue to put pressure on the bills, and perhaps the night’s biggest score Hopkins, the latest Ravens receiver, who shows catching capacity with a one-handed sneak to a 29-yard touchdown on his first goal with his new team.
Allen and the bills reacted once again when they needed a touchdown when quarterback scamped into the colored paint from two meters out. But Buffalo was unable to convert their two-point attempt, leaving it a two-score game for Baltimore.

However, Henry did not care about “Bills Mafia”, which became the bully in the fourth quarter. Runing Back busted a 46-Yard Touchdown race after Jackson’s 19-Yard race, where he was about the same distance behind the line with review before getting more defenders missed to keep the drive alive on the third-and-10 with a first down.
But it was all Buffalo after that Henry score. They composed 16 unanswered points to shock Baltimore and start the 2025 season in magnificent fashion.
