Bitcoin Rally is funny but don’t overlook Rwas: Crypto DayBook Americas

Of Omkar Godbole (all times one unless otherwise stated)

Bitcoin stays in an uptrend despite the withdrawal overnight. The world’s largest cryptocurrency is on fire after gathering almost 10% in a week.

While the shower around BTC is natural, other undersirectors, such as assets in the real world (RWAs), are illuminating and deserving attention.

On Monday, Ondo Finance announced one of the top five RWA projects by market value, the acquisition of Oasis Pro, an American company with full SEC broker dealer, ATS and Transfer Agent licenses.

The acquisition enables Ondo to offer compatible tokenized securities products in the United States, including the issuance, trade and management of tokenized assets such as shares, business debt and structured products. Ondo -Token rose almost 5% to 96 cents while continuing to act well during his tops in December 2024 of $ 2.14.

In a parallel development, the RWA-focused layer 2 blockchain, Plume Network, said it has been registered by SEC as transfer agent.

The license allows Plume to manage digital securities and shareholder registers directly onchain that supports interoperability with US Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) Settlement Network. The network’s native token (plume) rose by 25% to over 12 cents on the message.

Overall, these messages signal that the digitization and tokenization of traditional assets wins regulated traction and bridge between traditional funding and blockchain innovation.

In other news, Cathie Wood’s Ark Venture Fund invested about $ 10 million in Securitize, a blackrock-supported tokenization company. The stake makes it the eighth largest possession of the sheet.

When we talk about the market prospects, the path for least resistance for BTC on the higher side remains supported by ETF flow. However, there is an interesting point to consider: Each of the previous times ETFs drew $ 1 billion or more on a day or two, Bitcoin’s award set at a temporary top and subsequently corrected lower, according to Coindesk analyst James Straten.

In addition, the dollar index that tracks the value of greenback against larger currencies remains resistant despite discussions of faster feed cuts based on the shutdown of the US government.

A potential rally in greenback could weigh cryptocurrencies and gold. The latter quickly closes on the $ 4,000 mark, a rally that has the like of Citadel. Stay aware!
