Bitcoin runs to $ 82K; SEC -delays Ripple, Dogecoin, Litecoin ETF archives

Bitcoin (BTC) itched back to nearly $ 82,000 and staged a relief after dipping under $ 78,000 late Sunday, led to a slight drive in larger tokens.

Ether (ETH), BNB chain BNB, XRP and Cardanos Ada increased as much as 3%, relieving some losses from the last 7 days. The widely based Coindesk 20 (CD20) added almost 4%.

Elsewhere, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) delays decisions on XRP, Dogecoin and Litecoin Archives. Bloomberg analysts had previously tied Litecoin’s odds of 90%, DOGE of 75%and XRP of 65%for a ETF approval at the end of the year, but still the regulator’s hesitation is to keep the market on the edge.

Dealers are still looking at a withdrawal to the $ 74,000 level and below, before any push higher.

“Previously, a similar decline would complete a corrective withdrawal and attract buyers,” Alex Kibesikevich, FXPRO Chief Market Analyst, told Coindesk in an E email.

“However, the chances of such a result are now lower than in previous years due to the powerful influence of traditional financial companies that have strengthened the connection between the crypto market and the warehouse dynamics. The scenario of a withdrawal to the range $ 70- $ 74K still looks the most likely out for us. This is all the more true as the consolidation and rebound in early March have taken the short -term oversold attitude out of the market, ”added Kuptsikevich.

Gains in BTC came when Senator Cynthia Lummis reintroduced the Bitcoin Act and pressed for the United States to pour up 1 million BTC as a strategic reserve. The bill, which Lummis first introduced last year, would order the government to buy 1 million Bitcoins over five years.

The first $ 6 billion in transfers from reserve banks would be set aside every year between 2025 and 2029 to build the reserve and rely on Fed’s gold certificates.

Some speculated on the possible inclusion of greater tokens in such a reserve in the future.
