Bittensor’s decentralized AI -study, yuma, launching asset management arm

Yuma, a development study and accelerator for decentralized AI (DEAI) Network Bite Base Bettered by Barry Silbert from Digital Currency Group, has introduced Yuman Asset Management to give institutional and accredited investors easy access to the DEAI ecosystem.

Bittensor is a decentralized network for AI that rewards people for contributing data and computing power to a variety of activities in the form of different application-driven devices called “subnets” that may include things like text translation, fraud detection, image recognition to multiple esoteric goals such as predicting the structure of complex protein chains.

Powered by its native token, Tao, wants the Bittensor to be the “World Wide Web” of AI, by allowing permitted AI-innovation where anyone can build, power or access models through the subnET-one alternative to the centralized infrastructure or business-owned AI resources.

Yuma Asset Management, which comes with an anchor investment of $ 10 million from DCG, contains two fund strategies that invest in the subnet-tokens, protocolnative crypto assets in these decentralized contributors networks, denominated in and traded with TAO, according to a press release.

Yuma Subnet Composite Fund, designed for market-cap-weighted exposure across all active subnets, corresponds to the “Nasdaq Composite” to Subnet-tokens, DCG said. Yuma Large Cap Subnet Fund corresponds to “Dow Jones Industrial Average” for the subnet -Tokens, designed for targeted exposure to the upper subnets at market value.

Back in the early days of Bitcoin, Silbert did something similar when he launched the Bitcoin Investment Trust in 2013, now Grayscales GBTC product. DCG believes it remains difficult for investors to access bittensor, or for investors to access AI in general considering that the largest AI companies such as Openai and Anthropic are private. As such, Yuma Asset Management provides an early and unique bridge to AI for institutions and accredited investors, DCG said.

“The subnet -tokens is a growing asset class, driven by Tao, giving investors an unprecedented exposure to a massive wave of AI innovation,” said Yuma CEO Barry Silbert. “The decentralized AI sector has the power to be as transformative as Bitcoin, and Yuma Asset Management opens the door to investors to access it through bittensor.”
