The greatest message for Black mirror Season 7 So far was made during Geeked Week 2024, when creator Charlie Brooker revealed: “We have six episodes this time and two of them are basically in gaming length. Some of them are deeply unpleasant, some are pretty funny and some are emotional. ”
Last time fans were treated with six paragraphs was back in season 4 and that is very relevant when it comes to what Brooker said next time: “Fans of the show will recognize the role crew of a particular spaceship from one of our episodes that reappears. We’ve made a sequel for the first time in Black mirror history. Usually I kill all the characters at the end of a paragraph and I kept some of them alive. I grow as a human being. ” And that section is Season 4’s USS Callister.
It’s no secret that Brooker loves to use shock and awe in his storytelling, and in USS Callister he killed Robert Daly, played by Jesse Plemons. Plemon’s name is available from Season 7 contributing the list, but confirms that his death was finally. Plus, the official synopsis of the episode is: “The USS Callister returns … Robert Daly is dead, but the crew of the USS Callister, their problems have just begun.”

But why now? According to Brooker, who spoke to Thr, it has always been in the cards: “It was something we looked at for quite a long time. There were different repetitions it went through, different versions we would make and discussed on and off in several years.
Although we know of a section of Season 7, news on site regarding the others is true Black mirror style, kept mysteriously hidden. With an anthology series, the possibilities are apparently endless, though he said, “I’m sure I’ll find out when we’re not doing more seasons! It will be made clear to me at some point, I’m sure. I’m in the long run.
