- A timer has appeared on the official Tony Hawk game website
- This follows an Easter egg that was discovered in Black Ops 6 last week
- Developer Iron Galaxy seems to be involved
Alert: The ongoing Tony Hawks Pro Skater Mystery is intensified as a timer is shown on the official website of the series.
By going over to the site you will find a date, March 4, 2025, as well as a timer that (at the time of writing) has about eight and a half days left. This votes up with an Easter egg from Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 which was discovered last week on the Grind Multiplayer card, where a sign showing the same date could be found in the Skate Park-themed environment.
It certainly seems like something is in the works but whether it is a whole new game or the very requested Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3+4 Remaster Dispasses to see.
What we can download from the website is ESRB Teen Rating, which highlights ‘Lyrics’ as a content warning. Pair for the course to THPS Series, given its use of licensed music. What is more interesting is the list of developer Iron Galaxy next to the Activision logo.
Iron Galaxy is a pretty well -known developer in the industry. It has worked with Activision in the past, after gate Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, Spyro repeated trilogy and Tony Hawks Pro Skater 1+2 to PC. Dev also has a fairly respectable background in battle games after working on Street Fighter 3: Third Strike Online Edition, Killer Instinct (2013) as well as they unfortunately ceased Room.
So what will Activision have in store for us on March 4? We simply don’t know until then, so in the meantime we just have to blow up some rolls of big fish, carry our favorite pairs of checkerboard-vans slip-ons and hope for the best.
