Blake Monroe receives great praise from WWE -legend

Blake Monroe debuted WWE earlier this month for the NXT brand as the company continued its tear of free agent signings and shake up the Pro Wrestling landscape.

Monroe, formerly known as Mariah May, made a name for herself in star status and was a woman master at all elite -wrestling and ended his time there after an epic feud with Toni Storm.

Now she has her sights on NXT Woman Master Jacy Jayne and the rest of Fatal Influence fraction in the hope of adding another recognition to her already impressive resume.

Pro Wrestling -legend Bubba Ray Dudley told Pakinomist Digital in a recent interview that Monroe maximized his potential in his previous role and that getting to WWE was the right step.

“Blake Monroe has caught my eye, caught my intention in the last few years, for the work she was involved in another company,” he said. “She performed a phenomenal job and maximized her potential there. I don’t think Blake Monroe could have been better at where she was, I don’t think there was enough talent that was better than her that she could work up to.

“I don’t know if there was enough mind that could have worked with Blake Monroe to make her be the sports entertainer she could be. I didn’t use the word pro -wrestler, I used sports entertainer, because when looking at Blake Monroe’s body of work over the last few years it is more sports entertainer than pro wrestler for me and at the end of

Dudley expressed optimism that Monroe would be a “big star” in WWE moving forward.

“So I think Blake Monroe, who came into NXT, was a very smart move on her behalf that worked with all this new talent, I think working with Shawn Michaels and working with all the talented creative people he has under him and the producers,” he said. “Blake will really shine in the system. And I think she will continue and be a big star in WWE.”

Monroe had her “contract signing” at NXT on the last Tuesday and told the audience that her “dream” should always come to WWE -something she has sent on social media continuously as she began her pro -wrestling journey.

It is unclear when her first official match will be, but Jayne gave Monroe her welcome to the NXT moment when she put Monroe through a table.
