PGA Tour golf player Ben Griffin may have had an outside shot at winning the BMW championship on Sunday if he put together a round that looks like how he did it Thursday.
But Griffins Sunday started less than ideal. He mapped at least one bogey on the first three holes.

He scored a seven on par-4 first hole and one six in par-4 seconds. Then he saved a bogey on the third hole. He was able to lock in and record seven birdies on the last 15 holes to put together a last round 69.
Griffin was 3 under Pari for the tournament and ended tied to 12 .. with Rory McIlroy and Harris English in the tournament. Scottie Scheffler won the BMW championship with a 15-under-blow better than Robert Macintyre and four better than Maverick McNealy.
He explained after his round that a problem with creatine caused his chances of the first three holes to slip away. He said he filled his water bottle with a “snowball” of creatine, and when he took a sip from the bottle, he turned off a massive part.

“I’ve never overdosed in creatine before, but I think I did it at the moment because I didn’t really drink any water after that,” said Griffin via golf.com. “I basically inhaled just a snowball. So I started to get super shaking. I’ve never felt it before and I felt I had the shaking.
“I four-Putted 1, and on the 2, I was naughty and didn’t know what to do. As if I hit it so far out of bounds.”
Griffin credited his caddy, Adam Ritthamel, to help him get through the intense problem. “

The native of North Carolina has two PGA Tour victories in her career – both are coming this season. He won the Zurch Classic in New Orleans with Andrew Novak and Charles Schwab Challenge.
