ISLAMABAD:
The sessions of the Senate and the National Assembly are held today (Thursday) at 16.00 and 17.00.
The Senate’s seven-point agenda has also been issued. Senator Ali Zafar will present the report of the Standing Committee on Information and Broadcasting regarding the safety of journalists, a matter earlier raised by the late Senator Irfan Siddiqui.
Union Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain will introduce the National Agri Trade and Food Safety Authority Bill.
Attention notices will also be discussed, including one by Senator Jan Muhammad regarding the blocking of parliamentarians’ accounts by commercial banks, and another by Senator Talha Mahmood regarding the deteriorating condition of roads in Chitral.
