Former PGA golf player Brandel Chamblee, now analyst, has been a free -speaking critic of Liv Golf.
Chamblee once said that the Saudi supported league was “funded by a murderous regime” and said that the “greedy” players who came to the trip, “helped a dictorial killer money laundering his reputation.”
In June 2023, the two Pro Golf Tours shocked the world when it was announced that they would work together to improve the game.

Liv has played on several Trump-owned courses.
“We are grateful that his leadership has brought us closer to a final agreement and paved the way for the reunion of men’s professional golf,” Monahan said in a statement this week.
Chamblee said he had a chance to play golf with Trump last year and the two discussed life and how it could be advantageous for the golf game.
“He was so magnificent about our differences. At one point he said, ‘Look, I know you and I are different on this opinion but hear me out.’ He said, ‘[LIV Golf chairman] Yasir [Al-Rumayyan] Love golf more than you do and more than I do. ‘Now it’s hard to believe because President Trump plays a lot of golf and I’m crazy about it. But he was serious, ”said Chamblee at the Waste Management Open Friday.
