On the set of Running point, Mindy Kaling was not the only one responsible, Kate Hudson’s daughter, Rani, also assumed a boss role.
In a recent joint conversation with Hudson, Kaling and Brenda Song with Entertainment tonight The trio sat down to discuss their upcoming Netflix series.
Song and Kaling’s children were unable to join their mothers on the set, but Hudson’s six -year -old daughter joined and had some smart words for the role crew.
“One of my favorite moments with Kate and Rani … Rani was wearing headphones, she came over, and she’s going, ‘Mom, I didn’t really like the last take,'” Song shared with a laugh.
“She would give us notes. It was the best,” noted Song.
“It was incredible,” Hudson replied. “It’s like full.”
Hudson remembered the moment as she laughed and shaking her head as she mimicked Ranis’s disappointment. “She was like” Mother, “she said. “It was so fun.”

Hudson welcomed daughter Rani with his fiancé Danny Fujikawa. She also has two sons, Ryder, 21, which she shares with ex Chris Robinson, and Bingham, 13, which she shares with ex Matt Bellamy.
