Brett Favre calls Zelenskyy’s interaction in the White House with Trump ‘Unreal’

The NFL Hall of Famer Brett Favre called Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy after Friday’s White House meeting with President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance.

The meeting had been intended to mark progress against peace talks to end the war between Ukraine and Russia when Trump had announced that the negotiations were in their last stages and facilitating a potential agreement to send Ukraine’s rare earthen soil minerals to us as compensation for his billions in helping the country since the war started.

But the meeting broke out in a shouting battle in the White House on Friday, seen all over the world as many conservatives have criticized Zelenskyy’s White House behavior after receiving billions in the help of the United States

Favre joined the list of conservatives with a post on X Friday shortly after the meeting.

“This was a little unreal to look at. A foreign leader who spoke to a sitting US president like this one,” wrote Favre in response to a clip of the argument. “Glad for Donald Trump and JD Vance stands up for America.”

Favre has been a stubborn Trump supporter throughout the president’s political career. Favre’s latest praise of Trump was met with mostly supporting reactions in his response, but also some criticism.

Former MLB player John Rocker responded to Favre. “It’s hard to believe this happened,” Rocker wrote.

Another user wrote, “Love, who sees world leaders held by our president, happy to have Trump and Vance fighting for American interests, no more excuses to be plenty of time to put America first and show the world what we are made of,” in response to Favre.

However, some users went out of their way of criticizing both Favre and Trump.

“Imagine Zelensky trying to tell them that Putin is full of S — And instead of listening, they become defensive and insults? The people who are no backbone or values welcome?” A user wrote in response.

Another user wrote, “Turn it around Dips — JD Vance doesn’t know when to hold a chain. A president and vice president should never talk to a leader of another country in this way that condescending him about details he lives every day.”

Under Zelenskyy’s visit to the White HouseVance said a path to secure peace between Russia and Ukraine was through the United States that participated in diplomacy. Zelenskyy then tried to participate in a line of questions about Russia’s movements since 2014 and attempts at diplomacy.

“Mr. President, with respect, I think it’s disrespectful to you to enter the oval office to try to truly this in front of the US media,” Vancce told Zelenskyy. “Right now you are going around forcing conscripts to the front lines because you have labor problems. You have to thank the president for trying to put an end to this conflict.”

Zelenskyy later said that during war, “everyone has problems, even you” and that united states would feel the war “in the future.”

“You don’t know,” Trump replied when Zelenskyy said, “God bless you” to him.

“Don’t tell us what we want to feel,” Trump continued. “We are trying to solve a problem. Don’t tell us what we will feel.”

The president also said that Zelenskyy doesn’t “have the cards right now.”

The oval office exchange led to a canceled press conference, a mineral agreement from the table and Trump asked the Ukrainian president to leave, an official in the White House previously confirmed to Pakinomist Digital.
