Brewers clinch playoffs with emotional bob uecker -tribute

Milwaukee Brewers became the first team in the MLB this season to get a postal seasonberth after a 9-8 win over St. Louis Cardinals.

The breweries have not only been a surprise this season, but a power center in the National League as the autumn season is approaching only a few weeks left in the regular season. They own MLB’s best record of 91-58, and although they have played playoffs for seven of the past eight seasons, they still hunt their first world series quay since 1982.

Uecker released the breweries years before the World Series race, began his career in 1971 and held his headset through 2024. He also received worldwide recognition for his roles in the “Major League” films and on sitcom “Mr. Belvedere.”

Uecter fought for lung cancer and died on January 16. Throughout this season, the brewers have worn a patch on their jerseys to honor his contribution to the organization.
