Bronny James is still facing health effects 2 years after cardiac arrest

Just over two years ago, Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest while practicing at the USC.

He returned to court about five months later and managed to be elected 55. Collected by Los Angeles Lakers last summer and got some time on the NBA floor.

Although it is a few years removed from the situation, the 20-year-old still has some lingering effects.

“I’m getting a little sick now. Which is a little weird, but I think it messed with my immune system a little. So I would have times when I have to sit out and that conditioning that I’m working on just goes away in the week I was out,” James told ESPN recently.

James proved he was not ready for the NBA last season, an average of 2.3 points on 31.3% shooting in 27 games. In G-League, however, he put 21.9 points on 44.3% shooting, which was far from the 4.8 points per Fight, he average in his lonely season at the USC.
