Last week, Cleveland raised Browns Rookie -quarterback Dillon Gabriel’s comments some eyebrows. Gabriel spoke with a reporter during the break of the last Saturday’s Browns-Eagles Seasonal Games and noted that “there are underholders and there are competitors.”
He also described himself as a competitor. After the game, Gabriel was asked if the contrast he mentioned was associated with his teammate and colleague -rookie -Sheduer Sanders. Gabriel then clarified his remarks and said he described the media as underholders, and he considered everyone on the Browns program list as a competitor.
As the saga pulled on, Sanders offered his perspective.

“Words or something, it can’t do anything against me,” Sanders replied when asked about Gabriel’s warmly discussed “underholders”. “I know God put the ability and power into me not even to worry about people’s comments. That’s what it is. I talked to him. He [Gabriel] told me on the plane ‘that wasn’t for you. I can see how they try to turn it. ‘I’m not stumbling no matter what it was. No words or anything affects me. “
A reporter followed up by asking if Sanders believed Gabriel.

“I believed in him?” Asked Sanders. “I mean I feel like trying to start things now. I feel like trying to start things. I mean, [the reporter’s] By performing his job he should. Do I feel he did it? Sanders handled the starting quarterback assignments in Cleveland’s trial opener. He ended his debut on the forth season with two touchdowns. Sanders was sidelined with an oblique injury during Browns’ second exhibition game.
Gabriel finished the week 2 -Seasoning competition with 143 passing yards. But he also threw a pick-six.

The Super Bowl winner Joe Flacco, 40, was named the starter of Browns’ regular seasonal opener against Cincinnati Bengals.
Sanders, Gabriel, Kenny Pickett and Tyler Huntley make up the rest of Cleveland’s crowded quarterback room.
