Shedeur Sanders got good news earlier Wednesday when Cleveland Browns announced he would start their next trial game if Kenny Pickett and Dillon Gabriel were still injured.

However, rookie -quarterback even suffered an injury himself, which potentially harms its own chances.

The skepticism was out when it was told that Sanders did not get any team representatives during Wednesday’s practice. Afterwards, Browns Sanders revealed an oblique injury.

Sanders suffered the damage while throwing early in practice, and was held out for the rest of the practice period.

The severity of the injury is unknown, but more will happen in the next couple of common practices with Philadelphia Eagles before the two enemies meet in a Forsy Season match on Saturday.

Sanders started last Friday against Carolina Panthers and impressed. He was 14-for-23 passing with 138 yards and two touchdowns.

The odds were already stacked against Sanders as he is in a crowded quarterback room that includes Pickett, Gabriel (which was drafted two rounds in front of Sanders) and Joe Flacco. Deshaun Watson also resumes a twice-thorn Achilles.

Sanders has been listed as the fourth quarterback on the depth card behind Flacco, Pickett and Gabriel respectively.

When he was pressed on when a decision will come on the season starter, head coach Kevin Stefanski said they will get a better idea after this week’s competition.

“I think you take everything into consideration, but we’ll see how we get through this week and then make a decision – make a decision on when to make a decision,” he said.

Flacco has taken most of the first -team representatives with Pickett still limited due to a hamstring injury. Gabriel also cares for a hamstring.

Earlier in the camp, Sanders had to wait patient to get Reps with the first team when the other three quarterbacks all did. He has had the majority of his reps with third strings, but he said it “not really flames me.”
