Auburn Tiger’s main coach Bruce Pearl called Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on social media after the Iranian chief leader made some wild claims.

Khamenei warned in a pre -recorded speech against future military intervention from the United States in his first statement since Israel and Iran accepted a ceasefire.

He also claimed that the United States thought Israel would be destroyed by Iran if it did not enter.

Pearl, also chairman of the US Israel Education Association, pushed back.

“Gloves and terrorists will not trust. I ask that you keep the ceasefire so people in the Middle East can continue to live and build on (President Trump’s) Abraham Agreements,” he wrote in a post of X. “But don’t think for a second (you are) fooling someone. The world knows you still want a nuclear bomb and see!”

Khamenei’s remarks were apparently aimed at proclaiming the country’s strength rather than reflecting reality.

After Iran’s attack on al-Udeid, the American aircraft base in Qatar, Khamenei burst that Iran “delivered a heavy flap to the face of the United States.” However, President Donald Trump called it a “very weak answer” before he revealed that Iran gave the United States “early notice” of his planned retribution.

“Iran has officially responded to our annihilation of their nuclear facilities with a very weak reaction that we expected and have very effectively received. There have been 14 missiles fired – 13 were beaten down and 1 was ‘released’ because it was heading in a non -threatening direction,” Trump wrote.

“I am glad to be able to report that no Americans were injured and hardly any harm was done. I would like to thank Iran for giving us early notice, which allowed no life to be lost and no one to be injured.”
