Bitcoin (BTC) and the wider cryptocurrency market recovered from overnight, with Monero (XMR), XRP and SUI, which led the jumping in front of the central US non -yard -wage report, which is expected to show a slowdown in employment in May.
“In the short term, weak data may support BTC to continue rebound. The market is concerned about Friday’s report on non-farming places if they show again that labor market cooling will strengthen expectations at this year’s rate,” analysts in Bitunix said in an email.
Other analysts expressed concern about the public spat between President Donald Trump and his disposable allies and billionaire technology entrepreneur Elon Musk over tax reforms and their influence on tax deficits.
“A public clash between Elon Musk and Donald Trump shook the investor’s confidence and highlighted breaches in political and business leadership,” said Valentin Fournier, Lead Research Analyst at BRN. “Traditional markets held relatively stable (–0.5%), but Crypto saw a sharp reaction, with $ 830 million in liquidations when geared dealers were wiped out.”
Fournier suggested maintaining a caution with low exposure, expect sideways or further downward action over the weekend. “Any rebound in the short term needs a basic catalyst to be maintained,” he noted.
