Buckingham Palace hosts the special “BBC 500 Words” episode of one show today, Thursday, March 6th.
The show would be released at the BBC One at. 7pm.
“Hardback or paperback? Read in the morning or at night?” Were the questions that Queen Camilla and “some famous faces” answered about their preferences when it comes to reading in clips that were shared on social media before the show went on air.
Previously, Royal Family shared a clip of the queen hosting finalists and their families, along with some special celebrity guests, to the great final of the BBC500Words.
According to Royal Family’s Instagram stories, “Royal Librarians chose some special stories from Windsor Castle Library for viewing on the BBC500Words Grand Final Reception”
A photo of Queen Victoria’s personal copy of Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens was also sent to an Instagram story.
According to the headline that accompanied the story, “she read the book at just 19 years old and noticed in her journal on January 8, 1989:” I think Oliver Twist is excessively interesting and beautifully and wisely written. “
