Buckingham Palace has published a major message about King Charles and Queen Camilla in the middle of Kate Middleton’s gradual return to royal tasks.

The princess of Wales visited South Wales last week and showcased the work for a long established organizations with communities at their core as she has resumed royal tasks after cancer diagnosis.

In the middle of Kate Middleton’s return, the palace has announced that King Charles, head of the Church of England, and Queen Camilla travel to the Vatican to meet Pope Francis in April.

Buckingham Palace said Thursday, “Their Majesty King and the Queen will take on state visits to Holy See and the Republic Italy in early April 2025.”

According to AFPThe state visit will be Charles’ first to the Vatican for conversations with the leader of the Catholic Church since he became king in 2022.

King Charles has also gradually returned to public life after the beginning of treatment for cancer early last year and has been on several state visits since.

The king and Camilla will also visit Rome and Ravenna in northern Italy to celebrate “the strong bilateral relationship between Italy and Britain,” the palace said.
