Buckingham Palace has recently seen DEFCON-1 announced and according to sources, there is a frenzy going on in the company as a result.
For those not in the know, it all stems from the public calls for Andrew to be stripped not only of his dukedom or military honours, but also the title of prince, which he enjoys as the reigning monarch’s younger brother and son of the late Queen Elizabeth II.
A warning about the state of the company has been shared by a Whitehall source. According to their findings, the cause of the DEFCON-1 Andrews title fiasco that rocked the company was because Parliament was “sniffing around” according to celebrity news reporter Rob Shuter.
On his sideline, he explained that senior MPs have begun to speak behind closed doors about Andrew’s behavior and conduct, and there were even plans to summon him “to give evidence under oath.”
According to the reporter, “the moment lawmakers start treating a royal like a minister, everything collapses. It’s DEFCON-1 at the palace.”
If Parliament once steps into the firm’s ‘jurisdiction’, for those not in the know, “they can do it again. And if they pull the Andrew thread, more follows: private security, foreign trade, royal finances, Queen Elizabeth’s decisions. The mere specter of hearings sent chills down centuries of royal precedent,” he also added.
According to Mr Shuter, that’s why Andrew’s title was handled as quickly as it was, and “we’ve never seen royal paperwork move so quickly,” he even added.
A big reason for that, though, is because “The King had influence – Prime Minister Keir Starmer owes him for the discreet whisper in Donald Trump’s ear. Lammy didn’t blink.”
But before the news was written off, a senior adviser was also quoted as saying that King Charles’ reasons for going this route were not because “for shame” rather than Andrew “being sacrificed to protect the system.”
