Buckingham Palace shares good news for the British

Buckingham Palace shares lovely news with fans

The British monarch’s office has made an exciting announcement amid Andrew’s downfall.

The British have received good news from Buckingham Palace. The royal family has offered roles that come with “a generous benefits package designed to support your wellbeing and life priorities”.

Among the vacancies is a live-in option, meaning the successful candidate will actually live on royal land. No previous experience is required for the position.

“Our team members work collaboratively, with the opportunity to gain experience in all aspects of the kitchen. With training and support embedded in our team culture, you’ll be encouraged to develop your skills,” according to the job ad.

“Although you’ll be based at Buckingham Palace, you’ll also be working in various royal residences throughout the year.”

The kitchen porter position has an application deadline of Saturday 21 March, with the successful applicant starting work in June 2026 on a fixed-term contract.

It is a full-time role requiring up to 45 hours each week, Monday to Sunday, although employees will only work five days out of every seven.

Although experience “in a similar role would be an advantage”, it is not essential as full training will be provided on site.

Other qualities Palace are looking for include someone who takes real pride in their work, thrives as part of a team, is “happy to be involved” and is “keen to develop your skills and gain experience in an exceptional team environment”.

The ad does not provide an exact salary figure, but states that the salary is “competitive plus benefits.”
