- Businesses may require full refund if Acer Devices’ Hardware fails under warranty in the first year
- Claims follow tight rules – hardware failure, warranty repair and correct business registration
- Vero and SpatialLabs -Units are covered – this is not just for budgetary equipment anymore
Acer has revealed a new offer that could reshape customer expectations across the laptop and computer space.
According to Acer Reliability Lift, customers in the EMEA region who buy qualifying professional units can receive a full refund of the original purchase price if the device experiences a hardware error within the first year and repaired under warranty.
Qualified categories include Chrome and Windows Pro devices as well as selected business screens and projectors. Remarkably, products that contain ACER’s Vero Sustainability Technology and SpatialLab’s 3D capacities are also included, which indicates that the offer is not limited to business models at Entry-Level.
How does this new policy work?
The invoice date counts as day 1 and buyers have 30 days to register their purchase. Up to 20 products per Business is eligible and the purchase must be for a new product made within the 2025 calendar year.
Any requirement must be submitted within 30 days after the product is repaired under warranty. The error must be hardware-related and resolved by an Acer-authorized repair center. Software problems, external component errors, abuse or accidental damage are excluded.
This offer is not available to individual consumers and is aimed solely at VAT registered professionals and businesses. To make a requirement, customers must provide matching business information and banking information. The refund applies only once per Product and is based on the net purchase price, excluding VAT and accessories.
By offering what is essentially a one-year satisfaction guarantee, ACER is challenging and asking competitors to reassess their own guarantee policies.
If it is widely adopted, this model could raise quality standards and build greater confidence across the business tech sector.
