Caitlin Clark left the Indiana fever’s victory over the Connecticut Sun on Tuesday night in tears as she appeared to hurt her groin after firing a hopping for teammate Kelsey Mitchell.
Clark had scored nine consecutive fever points as she dribbled against Mitchell and made a fine pass when Mitchell cut the back door. After Mitchell made lay-up, Clark gently went back to the basket and knocked her head against padding.
