The Indiana fever had a chance to complete a fourth quarter, double-digit comeback with a potential buzzer-beating but two shots did not fall.
None of these shots were taken by Caitlin Clark, which ended with 27 points. Thus, Atlanta Dream escaped with a 91-90 win.
Clark scored eight points in the fourth quarter, but she inserted the ball with less than 10 seconds back and never touched the ball again.

Natasha Howard’s first shot was blocked, and then she hit back-iron. Nia Coffey grabbed rebound and the dream was able to waste the rest of the clock.
It was safe to say that fans were confused by the fact that Clark didn’t get the last shot.

Indiana drew, 44-42, at half, while Clark was working on another triple double in so many matches this season. However, the dream went on an 11-0 race and it looked like everything was over.
After 11 to start the fourth, Clark hit two deep 3-Pointers and handed out a fine behind back-back assist with cutting the deficit to four.
Indiana couldn’t get closer for several minutes, but eventually tied the game with just over a minute left. Aliyah Boston then went to the line with 21.7 seconds back and gave the fever their first lead as they scored the first basket of the game.
However, Atlanta’s Rhyne Howard hit two free kicks, game bonding and winning shots, with 9.7 seconds left.
Clark ended with 27 points and 11 assists. It was the 10th 20-point, 10-assistant games for Clark in her young career tying Courtney VanderSloots WNBA -Record. Vandersloot has played in 430 games. Clark has played at only 42.
