Tennis legend Chris Evert Froved Wnba players due to lack of sports after Tuesday evening’s skirmish, who saw Indiana Fever Star Caitlin Clark being stabbed and pushed to the ground in a game against Connecticut Sun.
Clark and Sun Players Marina Mabrey and Tina Charles were struck by technical violations. Jacy Sheldon got an obvious mistake. Later, fever guard Sophie Cunningham seemed to reciprocate with a tough mistake on Sheldon. Both players were thrown out of the game with 40 seconds left.

Evert was among those who commented on the Clark incident.
“When will these ladies realize, accept and appreciate @CaitlinClark22 is the best thing that has ever happened to women’s basketball. This is a bad look for the sport and what has happened to sports?” Evert wrote on X.
She responded to a social media post made by Spalist Christine Brennan, who is ready to publish a book about Clark next month.

“Wnba continues to not meet the moment. Terrible decision to give Marina Mabrey the opportunity to stay in the game. People look like never before. And that’s what they see?” Brennan wrote on X.
It is far from the first time Clark has been stabbed, placed and pushed on the floor. She was also hit in her eye during a game against the sun last year – and it’s just been the tip of the iceberg.
Crew Manager Ashley Gross spoke with a pool reporter after the game and was asked about Clark -technical errors.
“After the mistake of Sheldon, Clark responded in an unsportsmanlike way,” Goss said.
Fever coach Stephanie White told journalists after the game that she received no explanation for the technical mistake of Clark.
