Wnba legend Lisa Leslie went to BAT for Indiana Fever Star Caitlin Clark in the middle of the discourse of the number of national TV games the team received this season.
The fever has 41 national television games – a result tied to the emergence of Clark in her Rookie 2024 season as some teams had to move to larger arenas to meet the demand to watch Sharpshooter.

Minnesota Lynx star Napheesa Collier said earlier this week it was “crazy”, the fever has more national TV time than defense champion New York Liberty. Leslie said she didn’t seem to know what the big deal was.
“It’s about money, marketing, and we can’t deny what Caitlin Clark has done for women’s games,” Leslie told USA Today in a story that was published on Thursday. “Why should we feel some kind of way that she has more TV games? … I don’t know what the big thing is of the fact that Caitlin gets a lot of love. She deserves it and she has helped change this game.”

Los Angeles Sparks Great said she was “grateful” for Clark and how she influenced the game and asked the rest of the league to zoom out and see how the “big picture” will affect everyone.
“I think we have to understand that when a player eats we eat all and we all get more options. It just opens up to everyone else,” she added. “I love that she is not the player who makes it all about her. She has given love and tribute to the players who have come in front of her. She shares the wealth with her teammates and she doesn’t have to do it.”
Whether it is positive or negative, Clark has been the focal point of WNBA since she entered the league and it will continue as long as she is on the field.

Clark made the fever of the most set team in Wnba at a landslide in his rookie year, when the 14 most seen WNBA games in the season all included the fever.
