Wnba Phenom Caitlin Clark claimed she was fined $ 200 by the league for an Instagram comment that calls the judges on Saturday, and she hasn’t even played a game for months.
In an X-post, Clark restored a screenshot of her comment that celebrated Indiana Fever’s playoff victory over the Atlanta dream with the “Refs” statement couldn’t stop us “from a fan account.
“Got $ 200 for this lol,” Clark wrote in his x post sharing of screen shot. “Bench mob will be even more wavy tomorrow lets goo !!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Clark’s teammate Sophie Cunningham then shared Clark’s post again and joked that someone should start a fundraiser for Clark to help pay the fine.
“It will really break the bank for her. Start a Gofundme now!” Cunningham wrote.
Clark’s salary of 2025 was $ 78,066, but she has endorsements dwarving that number.
Both Clark and Cunningham LED seasonal ending injuries earlier this year and have been sidelined throughout Indiana’s playoffs.
Still, both players have been at the center of attention during the postal season match, especially when it comes to the judges.
During the first quarter of the fever’s game against the Atlanta dream on Tuesday night, Clark and Cunningham made a demonstrative gesture for officials who protested that a dream player should be called for travel.
Recordings of their common gesture became viral on social media.
Later in the game, when officials called to travel on Atlanta, Clark was seen mimicking gestures again, playful.
The relationship between Clark and WNBA officials has been a contentious topic since she entered the league in 2024.
More people close to Clark, including Cunningham, fever coach Stephanie White and even Clark’s brother have talked about questionable treatment of WNBA fenom of the judges.
Back in June, after being viral to start a fight in defense of Clark against Connecticut Sun, Cunningham called officials to journalists.

“During that, it was just part of the game. I think the judges had a lot to do with it. It was a structure for a few years now of those who just didn’t protect the star player in Wnba,” Cunningham said. “At the end of the day I will protect my teammates. That’s what I do.”
Clark’s brother, Colin Clark, suggested that WNBA officials were blamed for the sharp -shooting damage, which she suffered in July.
“Make no mistake this is on Reffing,” he wrote on X before deleting the post.
White called officials after a controversial non-call against Clark against New York Liberty in May.
“I thought she was buried. I think it’s pretty creepy what happened to us the last few matches,” White said of Clark. “The disrespectful respect right now for our team has been pretty incredible. So it’s disappointing, you know it’s not going both ways or it’s not gone both ways.”
Meanwhile, back in September 2024, a rookie Clark came a technical error away from a one-game-pension.
“And it stinks because I feel like half of my technicales this year, I got one for the unintended contact with the face in the Minnesota game and then two to hit the basket,” Clark said of the violation. “One was a complete accident, and then the other two were just a little frustration about myself. So I think I could have done a better job of keeping my feelings in check, but at the same time as … Really?”

Now, Clark has boldly boasted from being fined for proclaiming judges on social media as her team is pushing for the whole WNBA playing game without her.
