“I don’t have anything in my head than what I am told. My goal has always been the same, I don’t want this to be something that hangs – that we’ll come back too soon,” White said. “We want to make sure she is 100% ready to go and that we put her long -term health and well -being at the forefront.”
White added that with just a handful of games left before the league enters the All-Star break, the timing of Clark’s absence Worked well. She noticed that Clark himself is eager to return.

“She wants to play, and she is working to play and she has been working on playing. I think, after a few days, it’s like, ‘Okay, we have some time,’ think-what five games before all-star breaks? We have some time, so let’s just ease her mind even if she’s a sty, and let’s do it right and make sure we’re ready to go and 100% when she’s coming back.”

Clark never missed a game during her college career at Iowa or during her first season in WNBA as she won the Rookie of the Year Award. However, her second season has been plagued by unanswered games.
Four games into the 2025 season, Clark was part of five games with a Quad injury. She returned and played in five games, where she apparently fell in a shot drop before missing another time period with her current injury.
