Indiana Fever Guard Caitlin Clark is back in the lineup after the WNBA star was sidelined in five consecutive matches with a quad injury, the team announced on social media on Friday.
This year’s rookie in 2024 strained a quadriceps under the fever’s 90-88 loss to New York Liberty 24 May. She was originally expected to miss two weeks, but she will have missed three weeks on Saturday.

“She’s back,” the fever announced with a post on Instagram. “Caitlin Clark are ready to play tomorrow against New York. ”
Fever -head coach Stephanie White said on Monday that the team was ready for Clark to start “ramping up again”, but she did not say if Clark had been cleared for basketball activities. White added Thursday that Clark and Sophie Cunningham, who have been sidelined since May 30, had “limited” reps during the exercise.

Clark average 19 points, 9.3 assists and six rebounds in four games this season.
Her return is coming as Liberty has been hot with a 9-0 record. They remain undefeated to eastern conference opponents and go to Indiana Fresh Off an 85-66 win against Chicago Sky, Led by Sabrina Ionescus 23 points.

White also said Friday that she expects Cunningham to return to the set -up this weekend.
