Caitlin Clark put the rest of WNBA on warning when she returned to the Indiana Fever -line with revenge and supported the New York Liberty’s undefeated strip on Saturday night.
Clark’s 32-point victory in the 102-88 victory gave Indiana his fifth win of the season. Clark made seven 3-Pointers, including three in a 38-second span that even shocked former Liberty star Rebecca Lobo.

Basketball Hall of Famer talked about Clark’s performance and what she means to WNBA viewing when the league saw numbers falling slightly in her absence.
“That means a lot more people are aware again,” Lobo said Monday on ESPN’s “First Take,” via terrible advertising. “We know how much Caitlin is driving ratings. We know how much Caitlin is making attention to WNBA. For her to come back and do that that way was just ridiculous.
“I’m sitting there at the end of the first quarter when she had the 38-second stretch where she drained deep three after deep three after deep three. I just sat there thinking I’ve been around this league since 1997. I’ve never seen it in a WNBA game. Have we seen players going on races?

The fever pointed out how deep Clark’s reach was.
Three of her 3-Pointers came from over 30 meters. She hit the rest from at least 26 feet. The WNBA 3-point line is 22 meters away from the basket.
“It was an exhibition of her after going out for 19 days to recover from an injury,” Lobo added. “Pair it with the other passports she made, and some of the other acting, it was just ridiculous. It’s not often you see WNBA or I see it and I like, ‘Wow, I’ve just never seen this before.'”
