Caitlin Clark’s coach suggests that Star offered to pay fine for technical error

Caitlin Clark’s Indiana Fever -Head coach Stephanie White got a technical error and a fine during Thursday’s victory against Las Vegas Aces to shout at the WNBA judges. Now, White has suggested that Clark offer to pay the fine.

Foul came when White shouted at officials during a Indiana possession with just over five minutes left in the fourth quarter and the fever led the aces by 23 when a judge signaled for a technical error on the coach.

Clark did not play in the game due to a persistent groin injury, but jumped up and started clapping for his coach in the middle of the incident.

After the game, White suggested Clark pay the fine.

“I don’t know about frustrations that cook as more to make a point,” White told journalists. “Caitlin said she got me though. She just got a bonus.”

During the first year of the White as head coach and Clark’s second year in WNBA, the fever has taken on a seemingly more rebellious tone in the team culture.

The fever won WNBA’s commissioner cup, a tournament in the season, with their 74-59 win over Minnesota Lynx on Tuesday night, and the team celebrated in the dressing room with some champagne and vodka-Selfzers.

Fever Forward Aaliyah Boston went to Instagram live to give one behind the scenes look at the celebration when Clark, who did not play due to a groin injury, took a shot.

“The guys, I just know that everyone in the league is sick,” Clark heard and says out of the shot.

The teammates replied with laughter where Boston added, “They are P — ed.”

While celebrating, Clark also expressed an opinion on the tournament and the $ 500,000 prize for the winning team.

“You get more (money) for this than you do if you are (wnba finals) master. It makes no sense. Someone tells [WNBA commissioner] Cathy [Engelbert] To help us, ” she said in another video.

Meanwhile, fever -nykommer Sophie Cunningham, who has quickly become a fan favorite after starting a match with Connecticut Sun players in defense of Clark, “No one likes us” after a recent match against Dallas Wings.

“I think so far this season we’ve had a lot of distractions. Some injuries Indy Star. “Let’s go through the adversity early. Let’s learn from it. Good news is that we won’t top up too early, so I mean it’s a positive. It’s not an excuse. Everyone plays a back-to-back. Everyone has this kind of rough schedule.
