Islamabad:
Cambridge International Education (CIE) confirmed on Thursday that question papers of three AS and a level of June 2025 studies were partially leaked over Pakistan and decided not to go in gene test.
In a statement, CIE noted that a question from AS&A level Mathematics Paper 12 was leaked before the exam. It added that parts of two questions from the AS&A level Mathematics Paper 42 were shared before the exam, while parts of a question from AS&A level Computer Science Paper 22 were leaked before the exam.
The examiner said they had completed their investigations into the claims about leaked questions and ensured that all students get reasonable results.
“In all three cases, Cambridge marks the papers as usual, but will reduce the questions shared in advance,” Cie said in the statement.
“We will give full grades to all candidates for these questions. This approach will tend to push the overall grades of the candidates upwards, and this will be explained when we advertise results,” the statement added.
“With this remedy, we are convinced that any benefit that candidates who saw the leaked questions are removed and that the remaining marks ensure the characters we assign will be accurate and reliable.
