Candace Cameron Bure has finally addressed the controversies she’s been embroiled in over the years, revealing that she’s found a new way to deal with them.
During an appearance on the latest episode of Stay true podcast, the 49-year-old actress shared that she “usually doesn’t fight back in the comments.”
“Because nothing really comes of it. I feel like when you fight back in the comments, it gets defensive. I feel like the more people defend themselves, the less integrity it has,” she continued.
The Full House the actress added that many of the beefs she’s been involved in “were not a feud on my part.”
“I let God fight my battles a lot online,” Candace said. “I also let the other people who are true fans fight my battles for me too.”
“Because sometimes they come in, they say, ‘She doesn’t. That’s not what she meant,'” she continued.
The Fuller House star added, “It just takes that self-control to be like, ‘God, I’ve just got to let it go because I don’t want to please everybody, and just help me walk my walk that’s honorable and pleasing to You as best I can. Help me learn and discern.’ That’s the biggest thing.”
Although Candace didn’t specifically mention any of her feuds, she has had beefs with Jojo Siwa and Jodie Sweetin in the past.
